About Us

We started with foundations, now we're full builders

Jose Flores has been pouring concrete in San Diego for 27 years (including dozens of ADU foundations) through his company, Supreme Concrete Group. After seeing enough ADU projects get managed poorly by the General Contractors running them, he decided to open TrueBuild ADU.

He had all the puzzle pieces already: the systems, equipment, reputation, and a clear idea of what was wrong with the way most ADU builders ran their projects.

He built TrueBuild ADU from the ground up with the same formula that worked for Supreme: a streamlined operation with in-house equipment we own and operate ourselves, an experienced crew, and owner involvement on every project.

If you want to work with a no-frills operation that fills the gap between the guy in a pickup who's cheap but unlicensed with zero reputation to protect, and the big corporations charging crazy prices to cover bloated overhead and extras, that's us.

We break ground, pour your foundation with our sister company, and build your detached ADU from the slab up. We manage the project directly and keep you informed throughout. When the build's done and final inspection's passed, we hand over the keys.
